An itinerary that crosses the most historic Senegal and the most authentic Casamance, combining UNESCO heritage, an unforgettable overnight ferry crossing, real immersion in Diola culture and seven nights of fixed base in front of the Atlantic in Cap Skirring — designed for cultural travelers who seek depth without giving up comfort. What makes this circuit unique Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its House of Slaves and the famous Door of No Return, opens the journey with one of the most powerful memory places in West Africa. The ferry crossing on the Aline Sitoé Diatta, a full night of navigation between Dakar and Ziguinchor, is in itself a travel experience —not just a transfer— and marks the symbolic passage from one Senegal to another. The delta of bolongs and mangroves is explored in depth on board traditional pirogues, visiting islands and communities little frequented by conventional tourism: Carabane, Kachiouane, Wendaye —with its artisanal honey production— and Sifoca, in addition to the fishing village of Elinkine. Cap Skirring serves as a base for seven nights, allowing you to alternate each day of excursion with the white sand beaches considered among the most beautiful in West Africa, without needing to redo the luggage.

Hotel Royam
The Hotel Royam, in Saly Portudal, offers a tropical garden with outdoor pool and private beach. It also features a shaded terrace, equipped with sun loungers, a cocktail bar and organizes tourist visits and animation activities. The rooms are located in bungalows decorated in traditional African style. They are air-conditioned. They have a private bathroom and a private terrace with views of the pool or garden.
